Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for talented Engineers who are working towards completing their Bachelors May 2013. At Samsung you will join our industry leading company in Austin, Texas for 9.5 weeks the summer of 2012! The Samsung Internship position is designed to introduce college students to real-life roles within the semiconducting industry. During this assignment, you will have a chance to utilize your theoretical knowledge while gaining a general understanding of the Flash memory process. Samsung Austin Semiconductor L.L.C. is one of the most advanced semiconductor fabrication plants in the world. The US-chartered company is owned by Samsung Electronics, the giant $60-billion Korean high tech company, and is the companyâ?Ts only semiconductor manufacturing plant located outside of Korea. This fabrication plant is the one of largest fabs in the US, sized equal to nine football fields and producing the latest in flash memory and logic chips. Interns will have the ongoing support of a mentor for the duration of their summer internship to provide structured feedback along with valuable career planning advice about the various opportunities available at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. During your internship expect to learn Samsung culture, complete a department specific project, and learn from top executives.
